Marisa Ann Greene Norris, age 67, of McMillan Rd., Crumpler, handed absent Sunday night, February 14. 2021 at Ashe Memorial Hospital in Jefferson.

Born December 4, 1953 in Watauga County, she was the daughter of Edsel William Greene and the late Wilma Jean Trivette Greene. Marisa loved traveling and singing gospel audio with the Greene Spouse and children. She was a member of the New Beginnings Bible Church in Independence, VA the place her spouse pastored and the place Marisa taught Women’s Bible Examine and led the Kid’s Choir. Most significant to her was appreciate for her Lord and adore of family. Her calling in lifestyle was becoming the greatest spouse, mom and homemaker, cooking and baking for her spouse and children, and primarily getting ready her well known Xmas candies. She savored sewing, needlework, cross stitching, arts and crafts, developing household decorations, and macramé. She experienced a exclusive talent for obtaining and helping anyone needing a little enable.
Marisa is survived by her husband, Rev. Gary G. Norris sons, Gary Gale Norris and wife, Marlo, of Julian, NC and Gerry Grant Norris and spouse, Donna of North East, Md 8 grandchildren and 5 fantastic-grandchildren her father, Edsel Greene and two sisters, Eva Jean Aldridge and husband, Len, of Boone and Sherry Lynn Trivette and partner, Ken, of Pine Ridge, S.D.
Graveside companies for Marissa Greene Norris will be performed Sunday afternoon, February 21st at 2:30 at the Norris-Tabernacle Cemetery, officiating by Rev. Steve LeaShomb. The family members requests that friends be sure to observe Covid protocol.
