GOLDEN, Colo. — The Golden Law enforcement Department (GPD) asked for the public’s support on Tuesday in identifying two adult males involved in an armed theft of a Home Depot.
The robbery happened on the evening of Tuesday, Jan. 29, at the House Depot at 16900 W. Colfax Ave., southwest of the intersection of U.S. 6 and Interstate 70, according to a GPD press launch.
At 7:48 p.m., 1 of the adult males entered the store by way of the principal exit doorways, took many Milwaukee drill combo kits from a promotional display screen and ran out the contractor service doors, the release states.
The 2nd man waited in a car in the parking great deal. Keep personnel explained to law enforcement that as they attempted to get a license plate from the suspect motor vehicle, the second gentleman pulled out a handgun, racked it and pointed it at the personnel, the launch states.
The initially gentleman was described as white or Hispanic, 5-foot-7 to 5-foot-9, with black hair 50 % in a ponytail. He was carrying a black jacket and tan boots. He had a tattoo on his proper hand that police claimed was unfamiliar and distinct.
There was no description supplied of the second male except that he putting on a black jacket.
The suspect vehicle was explained as a gentle-colored 4-doorway sedan with a Colorado non permanent tag. A witness identified the car or truck as a Honda Accord, probably a design involving 2008 and 2012, the launch reported.
