Two people had been identified useless within an Aged East Dallas residence Thursday and two Dallas police officers have been shot, police say.
The officers ended up quickly shot at when they arrived close to 11 a.m. at a home in the 5300 block of Bonita Avenue, around Henderson Avenue and Central Expressway, law enforcement mentioned.

This is the 2nd time in less than a week that a Dallas law enforcement officer has been wounded in the line of obligation. On Saturday, Officer Mitchell Penton was fatally struck by a suspected drunk driver when he was directing website traffic.
Thursday’s incident is near where Dallas law enforcement Officer Brian Jackson was killed in the line of obligation whilst responding to a domestic violence call in 2005.
