(CNN) — Debra Crosby entered stress mode when she achieved the money sign-up at Walmart and recognized her wallet was missing.

The science trainer from Yulee, Florida, reported she was purchasing for Easter decorations last Saturday when she uncovered her wallet was gone.

“It was a Saturday the traces ended up extensive and people have been on the lookout impatient,” Crosby instructed CNN. “So, I’m like, what am I heading to do?”

The good thing is, she had some petty dollars in purse to complete her invest in. But her wallet contained other necessities this sort of as her driver’s license, navy ID and financial institution cards.

Although on her way household, Crosby was notified by her household protection camera that there was anyone at her entrance doorway. She claimed she known as her stepson to search at the footage — and to her shock the visitor was a guy who experienced stopped by to fall off her wallet.

“Hey Ms. Crosby, I identified your wallet at Walmart,” mentioned the unknown person in the safety online video. He is then viewed leaving her wallet in a safe and sound position outside her front door.

Crosby claimed she was surprised by the stranger’s willingness to individually provide her wallet to her house. The drive from Walmart to her house is about 20 minutes, she told CNN.

“I am contemplating wow this is super. He did not go away his title. He failed to do it or the fame or fortune,” she reported. “He did it, I guess, for the correct rationale. She shared the story to social media and a local information station hoping to come across the male and thank him for encouraging her.
