BOARDMAN — Thomas W. White, Jr., 83, died Thursday early morning (April 1) at Hospice of the Valley’s Hospice Property. 

Thomas was born Nov. 4, 1937 in Youngstown, a son of Thomas and Mary Bell White.

Elevated in Youngstown, Tom was a graduate of Woodrow Wilson Higher School.

He labored the greater part of his vocation for the Town of Youngstown’s Road Office, retiring as a foreman after 32 yrs of assistance.

Immediately after retirement, he worked in maintenance for the Greenbriar Nursing Residence in Boardman and later on opened a few dining establishments alongside with his children. They operated Buon Appetito in Boardman and Stephanie’s Pasta Bowl and Pizza Joe’s, equally in New Middletown. 

Some of Tom’s favourite things incorporated vegetable and flower gardening, tailgating at Browns games and spouse and children picnics.

Tom cherished decorating his residence for vacations and primarily enjoyed shopping visits to T.J. Maxx to search for holiday getaway decorations.

(Kimberly) White, III of New Middletown and Michele (Vito) Marzano of Boardman a sister, Margaret Bodine of Poland grandchildren Anthony (Colleen) Colaluca, Chris (Andrea) Colaluca, Cassandra Valentini, Samantha Valentini, Vito Marzano, Ashley (Cody) Bolitho, Garrett (fiancee Amanda Belasco) White, Rachel (Jimmy) Zubick and Stephanie (Nick Cavalier) White a fantastic-granddaughter thanks in Could a great-grandson thanks in September sisters-in-law Maryann (Lew) Jackson, Margie Bayus and Martha Wilaj a host of nieces and nephews particular friends John Beniston and Peggy Nemecsek and his back garden buddies Joyce Ramsey and Ed Lyden his longtime companion, Lois Antronica of Poland Lois’ children Lulu (Marty) Annees, Donna (Dave) Benson, Carmel (Steve) Massarelli and Sam Antronica and Lois’ 8 grandchildren and two fantastic-grandchildren.

Family members and close friends will be received on Monday (April 5) from 5 to 7 p.m. and Tuesday from 9:30 to 10:15 a.m. at the Davis-Becker Funeral Residence, 8536 Sector St., Boardman. A funeral provider will follow at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral property followed by interment at Lake Park Cemetery. Masks will have to be worn, the 6-foot rule will be honored and visitors should really not linger just after seeing the family members.
