WASHINGTON COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) — Officers say two people are dead next a property invasion Wednesday, Feb. 3.
Washington County deputies responded to a property in the city of Kewaskum close to 2:50 p.m. immediately after a 911 caller claimed that a suspect had pressured his way into their residence demanding keys to a automobile.
A 2nd 911 call was put close to 2:56 p.m. from a neighbor who described hearing gunshots and observing an armed subject going for walks towards the caller’s dwelling.
Authorities say on arrival, deputies exchanged gunfire with the suspect, who then fled on foot.
A drone found the suspect a quick distance absent, where by officers found him deceased from an apparent gunshot wound.
Extra responding deputies located a deceased specific outdoors the 1st 911 caller’s residence. A witness stated that the resident experienced been shot by the armed suspect prior to legislation enforcement’s arrival.
