The trees – which can grow up to 50 ft high – did not go to squander, with Prince Charles planting them at the entrance of his property, Llwynywermod in Wales, two months just after the nuptials.
Prince Charles acquired the Welsh property for £1.2million in March 2007, and it features 3 cottages, a Grade II-mentioned barn and a major dwelling. It is thought to be exactly where the 72-yr-previous travelled to following his father the Duke of Edinburgh‘s funeral.
