Police: Shoplifter killed after capturing Residence Depot guard, CPD officer in Brighton Park

CHICAGO – A Chicago law enforcement officer shot during an altercation with a shoplifting suspect in Brighton Park is anticipated to be Okay, according to Supt. David Brown. A stability officer who tried to prevent the shoplifter is in “grave situation.”
