A Toledo man who stole nearly $145,000 from location household enhancement stores has been sentenced to prison.
Marvis Jones, 37, was transferred from the jail Tuesday to the courtroom of Wooden County Popular Pleas Choose Matt Reger.
He was indicted in March for robbery, a third-degree felony burglary, a third-diploma felony three counts theft, all fifth-diploma felonies and failure to comply with an purchase or sign of a law enforcement officer, a third-diploma felony.
Reger explained that Jones led law enforcement on a 15-mile chase with speeds in extra of 100 mph in a 70-mph zone. He ran various stop lights and quit symptoms, drove without headlights, drove still left of center, and crashed into a marked patrol auto.
