Mid-century contemporary INhouse in New Albany is a creative retreat

The authentic operator of Brook Smith’s Silver Hills mid-century modern-day house was a person named Robert Kelso. Kelso developed the house in 1957, immediately after asking famed architect John Johansen — whose operates helped form modernist layout ideas — to layout the abode. The house went via numerous arms right up until it was ordered by Louisville artist Ed Garber in 2012. Garber restored the house to its present day layout ahead of advertising the residence to Smith in 2016.
