MEDWAY — Medway Substantial Faculty junior Carter Pomponio was not too long ago awarded 2nd location for his reasonably priced housing design and style challenge by Mass STEM Hub.

Pomponio, who is in the school’s Civil Engineering & Architecture class, submitted his afordable housing design job to the Student Sector Connects application in February. His job was regarded by STEM industry gurus and he was awarded next location amongst all superior university engineering projects submitted for thing to consider.

He was presented with a certification from Mass STEM Hub by Jasinski on June 3.

Pomponio’s project aims to design a home that can be constructed in a price-successful fashion and is economical for the operator to keep and support, as perfectly as suit the “client’s” suggestions. His style and design consists of sketches and renderings for all parts of a property, which includes the kitchen area, bathroom, closets and hallways, staircases, windows and a lot more.
