Mary is survived by her son, Martin (Tamara) Messina of Chesterton, IN daughters, Sandra Messina of Las Vegas, NV, Cynthia (Jack) Heilingoetter of Aurora, IL, Donna (Brian) Messina-Test of Aurora, IL grandchildren Phillip, Douglas, Christopher, and Jennifer Miller Melissa McLean Shuler, Sarah Croft, Allyson Brenna, Parker Test terrific-grandchildren, Will Radley, Religion Miller, Emma Grytoyr Nadia and Sarina McLean Seth, Sage, Skye Croft Hailey and Owen Brenna. She was preceded in dying by her partner, Charles Messina sister, Pauline Joyce father, Herbert Vernon Spitler mother, Clair Spitler sister-in-legislation, Dorothy Krushinski.

Mary will be remembered for her skills in stitching attire for her “ladies” and granddaughters, crafting flip-flop dolls, clowns, and vacation banners and ornaments. She will be appreciated for her cooking and baking creations-hen and noodles, Italian beef, potato salad, sugar cookies, fudge, popcorn balls, and caramel apples. Mary loved traveling, specially to expertise the majesty of the Rockies, the autumn foliage displayed in the Northeast, and all the factors of desire that define our state. She loved web hosting Bunco nights with the gals in Merrillville, and weekly bowling and card game titles with the Chesterton crew.
