
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A man has been arrested soon after a bullet was fired into a home in South Nashville early Tuesday early morning, becoming lodged in the living home wall.
Metro law enforcement reported they responded to studies of gunshots fired in the location of Tusculum Street and Maple Top Drive. When officers arrived, they claimed they listened to several pictures in the vicinity of Packard Travel and Fairlane Push.
The inhabitants of a house on April Lane told law enforcement a bullet went as a result of the entrance of their dwelling, into the dining spot, by way of a chandelier and into the dwelling space wall. No 1 inside the residence was injured, in accordance to investigators.
Witnesses reported the gunman was driving a maroon Dodge Challenger. Officers spotted the car on Strasser Drive, headed towards Packard Push, but explained the driver fled at a superior-price of velocity, refusing to quit, even when unexpected emergency machines in a marked patrol cruiser was activated.
Officers claimed they lost sight of the car or truck, but later found it in a driveway on April Lane, across from the house that was strike by a bullet. Jose Lagunas Padilla, 27, was in the driver’s seat, police claimed.

A warrant states a gun fell out of Lagunas Padilla’s pant leg in the course of a pat down. It experienced an empty journal and one round in the chamber, in accordance to the police report.
When detectives questioned Lagunas Padilla, they stated he admitted to firing the weapon from his automobile many situations because of to a “beef” that just one of his friends was owning.
Lagunas Padilla was booked into the Metro jail Tuesday early morning on multiple expenses, which include aggravated assault with a lethal weapon, reckless endangerment, evading arrest and vandalism. His bond was set at $29,000.
