Male dies by suicide outside U.S. Rep. Beth Van Duyne’s Texas home

A guy killed himself outside the house of U.S. Rep. Beth Van Duyne’s suburban Dallas property Wednesday afternoon, according to authorities.

Irving law enforcement responded to a report of a taking pictures about 3:45 p.m. nearby time, Officer Robert Reeves explained. When they arrived, they found a gentleman on the sidewalk who experienced taken his existence with a handgun.

Van Duyne was household at the time with some other folks but did not witness the incident, Reeves mentioned. They did hear the gunshot and named 911 when they discovered the gentleman lying on the sidewalk.

The medical examiner is doing the job to recognize the male.

Investigators will glimpse into motive, and how the man acquired into Van Duyne’s gated neighborhood.

Law enforcement explained there is no rationale to believe that there is a further risk to Van Duyne, a Republican. The FBI is assisting in the investigation.
