NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – The Metro Nashville Police Section is investigating an apparent murder-suicide that officers mentioned took place though the victim’s child was at home.
Officers responded to an condominium in the 2900 block of Baby Ruth Lane Friday afternoon to check on Camara Harris’ welfare. Law enforcement mentioned a loved ones member noted she had not proven up for a spouse and children gathering.
According to MNPD, Harris’ car was parked outside the house and she was not answering her cell phone. When officers entered the condominium, they noticed the 35-year-aged motionless on the sofa and Anthony Davis, 41, was holding a handgun. Officers then commenced to back out of the condominium and that is when they listened to a gunshot.
Law enforcement went again inside the condominium and noticed the couple’s 6-yr-outdated daughter. She advised them her mom was damage.
Investigators discovered it appeared Davis shot Harris in advance of killing himself with a gunshot wound to the head. Detectives recovered a handgun from Davis.
Metro law enforcement reported the couple’s kid was not physically harmed and will be placed with relatives.
