“… Donald John Trump engaged in high Crimes and Misdemeanors by inciting violence in opposition to the Authorities of the United States, in that:
“On January 6, 2021, pursuant to the 12th Modification to the Constitution of the United States, the Vice President of the United States, the Property of Associates, and the Senate achieved at the United States Capitol for a Joint Session of Congress to rely the votes of the Electoral Higher education. In the months previous the Joint Session, President Trump continuously issued false statements asserting that the Presidential election success were the solution of common fraud and must not be recognized by the American people today or licensed by State or Federal officers. Shortly just before the Joint Session graduation, President Trump dealt with a crowd at the Ellipse in Washington, DC. There, he reiterated fake statements that “we won this election, and we received it by a landslide.” He also willfully created statements that, in context, encouraged — and foreseeably resulted in — lawless motion at the Capitol, this sort of as: “if you never struggle like hell you are not likely to have a state any longer.” As a result incited by President Trump, customers of the crowd he had dealt with, in an endeavor to, among the other goals, interfere with the Joint Session’s solemn constitutional obligation to certify the success of the 2020 Presidential election, unlawfully breached and vandalized the Capitol, hurt and killed law enforcement personnel, menaced Customers of Congress, the Vice President, and Congressional staff, and engaged in other violent, deadly, destructive, and seditious functions.
