
LELAND — Haywood Jefferson “Woody” Clement, 70, moved on to his heavenly property Saturday, July 31, 2021. He succumbed to pancreatic cancer in the convenience of his dwelling in Leland, North Carolina. Woody was born Jan. 3, 1951, to the late Randolph and Florence Clement of Virginia Seashore, Virginia. He was the oldest of 5 young children.
Woody is survived by his wife of 43 yrs, Mary Grace (Sciarrino) daughters, Cotie Mekdeci, Madeline German and Mary Beth (James) Gray son, Randy (Ashley) Clement brothers, Edward, Donald and Charles (Janice) Clement sister, Joan Miller and many loving grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended spouse and children.
Following serving in the U.S. Military, Woody went onto a thriving job promoting corporate positive aspects. He preferred to stay busy in retirement and ordinarily had at minimum one household enhancement challenge at house or at a person of his children’s homes. His joy was supporting his youngsters in any way he could. He beloved to travel, exercise, journey bikes and read.
Memorial companies for Haywood Clement will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, Aug. 5, at Andrews Mortuary, 1617 Market St., Wilmington.
