Betty Sue (Finn) Gooden, born July 13, 1938, went property to be with the Lord on July 17, 2021.
She will always be remembered as the light-weight of all our lives. Nana was an avid gardener, skilled chef and comprehensive time mom to the entire community. She was usually genuinely content and held a smile with her just about everywhere she went. Nana loved to convey to us tales about her dad and mom, Nolan and Ollie Finn, and her sister, Barbara Pell.
Her most loved stories normally concerned her son, Joseph Gooden, and pranks they pulled on her husband, Joe. Altogether, they were being an wonderful relatives comprehensive of love and kindness. Nana and her cornbread had been the real glue that held the loved ones collectively and the two of them will be skipped dearly. We will pass up her feeling of humor and her infectious laugh, her in excess of the top Christmas decorations, and her ability to fix every thing with food and a hug.
She was a member of Center Valley Baptist Church for above 40 yrs and was a devout Christian female. Nana was a picture best daughter, spouse, mom, and grandmother and we were being blessed to have her in our lives.
Survivors contain her grandson, Nicholas Gooden and her loving cousin, Regina McBryar.
Graveside solutions will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, July 24, in Hamilton Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
