Florida woman accused of breakfast theft at Interlachen home

INTERLACHEN, Fla. — A Florida female is behind bars soon after investigators say she broke into an Interlachen household in which a few kids were sleeping and served herself to espresso and eggs.

The Putnam County Sheriff’s Workplace claimed in a Fb article that deputies were named to the household on Saturday early morning just after the home owner explained a lady broke into her household and was drinking espresso.

The home-owner had gone to get the job done that morning, leaving her a few kids age 16, 10 and 7 asleep, the post claims. When the 16-year-old woke up, she identified as her mom close to 9 a.m. and instructed her there was a woman in the kitchen area.

The homeowner returned from do the job and uncovered Wendy Kaufman within the home “actively ingesting espresso.” She had also built herself eggs for breakfast, in accordance to the sheriff’s workplace.

The homeowner informed Kaufman to go away, and she instructed the lady she would not go “devoid of her daughters,” referring to the children in the house, the sheriff’s office suggests. Nevertheless, Kaufman has no relatives connection to the home-owner, according to investigators.

Kaufman went outside and waited on the porch for deputies to arrive. She was arrested and billed with burglary of an occupied dwelling.

“She was taken to the Putnam County Jail and held on $5,000 bond exactly where she is acquiring breakfast, lunch and supper,” the sheriff’s place of work Facebook put up says. “No term on how she likes her eggs.”
