ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — The residence of former U.S. Congressman Alan Grayson caught on hearth overnight.

Orange County Fireplace Rescue firefighters had been battling the fire at Grayson’s dwelling on the 8000 block of Oak Park Push in Windermere early Tuesday morning.

Spectrum News 13 spoke with the former congressman just just before he left and he explained his household is undertaking all right and built it out properly. 

Firefighters bought termed out to the six-bed room home about 1 a.m., Tuesday. 

Officials claimed that no one was hurt and everybody manufactured it out properly. 

It is not recognized how the fire begun at this time. But Spectrum Information 13 was told that section of the roof arrived down as flames arrived at both floors by the time fire crews arrived. 

Spectrum Information 13 reporter Rebecca Turco could scent smoke with her car’s windows up from about a quarter-mile away. 

Grayson was the U.S. representative for Florida’s 8th and 9th congressional districts during his political job.
