Fire breaks out at Lynn Haven house Tuesday evening

LYNN HAVEN, Fla. (WMBB) — A Lynn Haven loved ones is okay immediately after part of their household went up in flames Tuesday evening.

It occurred shortly before 7 o’clock at a home on the corner of New York Avenue and 12th Road.

Lynn Haven firefighters responded in putting out the huge blaze. Lynn Haven Police served maintain cars and trucks from driving as a result of that spot of 12th Avenue to make area for fire vehicles and other emergency personnel motor vehicles.

Information 13 spoke to Leslie Newmans who owns the property with her husband. 

She stated the fire begun in the garage from a battery charger that exploded. She explained chainsaw batteries were charging at the time.

She stated at the time the garage spot caught fire, it spread speedy, and their two story addition in the again of the dwelling also caught fireplace.

She claimed she and her loved ones have been finishing dinner when it occurred. They didn’t even notice the garage place was on fire right until they observed numerous cars pulling up outside their household, which led them to see what was going on.

Everyone made it out of the household securely, together with the family members doggy. 

She mentioned they have lived there for 30 decades and the dwelling is really a historical home, crafted in 1914.

The whole extent of the damage to the property and home is unfamiliar.
