STAYTON, OR (KPTV) – A 70-yr-outdated girl was uncovered useless in a Stayton property from an evident gunshot wound.
Officers responded to the 300 block of West H2o Road at 7:33 p.m. Sunday on a report of suspicious instances.
Karen Schaefer was identified useless at the scene. Officers reported she experienced an clear gunshot wound. An autopsy scheduled for Wednesday will decide the formal result in and manner of her loss of life, in accordance to investigators.
A person at the home was detained. Brian Schaefer, 38, of Stayton, was subsequently arrested on fees of next-diploma murder with a firearm and unlawful use of a weapon.

Deputies stated there is no indication of any outstanding risk to the local community in connection with this case.
