FBI brokers raid residence of Solvay code inspector in Camillus community

Camillus, N.Y. — At least a dozen agents with the Federal Bureau of Investigations raided a property in Camillus as element of an ongoing investigation Monday morning.

The agents could be noticed getting into and leaving the property at 131 Lookout Circle soon right after midday, a lot of putting on FBI jackets. A caravan of black, unmarked law enforcement vehicles loaded the avenue.

The property is owned by Colleen Hayes, in accordance to county assets tax data. It’s also the tackle of Aaron Sauer, the code enforcement inspector for the Village of Solvay, according to a lookup of public data.

A spokeswoman for the FBI’s subject business in Albany verified that brokers frequented the dwelling as aspect of an ongoing investigation. She explained she could not give extra information about the mother nature of the investigation. She confirmed that brokers also searched a residence on Burns Avenue in Syracuse’s Eastwood neighborhood Monday early morning.

No one was arrested.
