ST. LOUIS – Neighbors say a relatives of five was sitting down outside their burned-out dwelling in shock soon after anyone lit some thing on hearth and threw it by way of their front window Wednesday early morning.
The property on the 3700 block of Keokuk sustained considerable destruction. The family was not harmed. St. Louis Police report a suspect is in custody.
“Somebody could have been killed,” claimed Jerry Braxton. The former Dutchtown resident was in the community when the fire began.
“Why would he do one thing like that?” Braxton said.
Law enforcement say the 59-year-old male in custody is a neighbor of the victims. Some neighborhood inhabitants acquainted with the suspect consider he is dwelling with psychological sickness.
