Dolores Pittenger Obituary (1932 – 2021) – Sioux Falls, SD

Dolores Jean Pittenger passed away from a sudden health issues on July 13th, 2021. She was very pleased to continue to stay independently at 88 and beloved to embellish her dwelling, have a tendency her bouquets, analyze the area birds and delight in the antics of her succession of beloved cats.

Dottie Kielman, as she was acknowledged by spouse and children and friends, was born and lifted in Sioux Falls, SD, the daughter of Harry Kielman and Ethel Dunkelberger. Although Dolores was born and elevated in Sioux Falls she most fondly remembered her time in Westford, MA just exterior Boston. Following earning her university degree in her forties at Sioux Falls Higher education (now University of Sioux Falls) she worked as a speech therapist and in group properties for the developmentally disabled in New Hampshire. She liked the trees and the ocean practically as much as she cherished caring for other men and women.

She was spunky, opinionated and very generally really amusing. She liked to generate and inform stories, discuss to and treatment for her grandchildren, hear to Frank Sinatra and Michael Buble’ and look at limitless Hallmark movies. Her residence was constantly attractive and inviting with new decorations for every vacation and she routinely experimented with new recipes.

She was preceded in dying by her to start with and 2nd husbands, and her granddaughter Adria (Shannon Wright-Barnes) She is survived by her daughters Shannon Wright and granddaughters Ezabelle Jean and Annika Leigh Barnes of Sioux Falls daughter Crysta Wright-Fischer (Kurt Fischer) and granddaughters Serena Leigh, Rachel Louise and Lauren Ranelle stepchildren Peri (Jack Robbins), Rev. Rick Pittenger and Michelle (Chris Rooks) Excellent niece Shelly Brown (Keith) and grandchildren Jessica, Adam, Michaela and Andrew and move-grandchildren and fantastic grandchildren Kris, Angela, Chad, Spencer and their youngsters.

At Dolores’s request there will be no funeral company. A personal relatives celebration of her existence has been planned. She requested that her ashes be spread in as quite a few places in the world as probable as she was not capable to travel as a great deal as she would have preferred.
