ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – A delivery driver was killed Sunday night time when a load of building elements fell on him at a Home Depot store in Florida, law enforcement claimed.
Information stores report that a load of drywall struck 47-12 months-previous Cyrenus Leroy Amon all over 7:30 p.m. at a House Depot shop in St. Petersburg.
Amon was delivering elements for United States Gypsum Co., St. Petersburg law enforcement spokeswoman Yolanda Fernandez explained to news retailers. A assertion from the firm claimed Amon was utilized by a 3rd-celebration provider that was providing USG items. The USG assertion did not title the provider.
The U.S. Occupational Protection and Wellness Administration will examine the incident, she claimed.
“We’re deeply saddened by this tragic accident, and our feelings are with the family and beloved types,” House Depot explained in a statement. “We immediately contacted the good authorities and are doing work with them on their investigation.”

This story has been corrected to demonstrate that Amon was employed by a 3rd-social gathering carrier, not United States Gypsum Co.
