Bay Spot person fights off four household thieves, kills a person of them

A Santa Rosa male fought off four intruders in his residence early Thursday, fatally stabbing just one of them, police mentioned.

The assault occurred shortly in advance of 2:30 a.m. in a property on Third Road a handful of blocks west of downtown.

The resident experienced achieved a younger female that night and invited her into the property. As soon as there, she asked if she could go into the back garden to smoke. When the resident opened the again doorway for her, three adult men, hooded and masked, burst in and began assaulting him, the police report reported.

The guy broke away from his attackers, who were being hitting and kicking him, and he grabbed a knife. When they came at him once again, he stabbed a single of them, the police mentioned. An intruder fired a shotgun into the air, and the gun jammed. The resident grabbed the gun absent and fled to a neighbor’s property, exactly where he identified as police.

The target was taken to a hospital for procedure of injuries the police claimed have been “serious but not existence-threatening.”

In the meantime, a person of the alleged thieves was dropped off at a healthcare facility, exactly where he was pronounced useless.

A quick time afterwards, the California Highway Patrol was named for a solo automobile crash in the vicinity of highways 12 and 121, south of the city of Sonoma and about 25 miles from the Santa Rosa home. The alleged intruder who died was discovered as Jedediah Boncutter, 18, of Kelseyville.
