ATF brokers descend on Miami residence early Tuesday early morning

MIAMI – Federal agent’s with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives executed an early Tuesday morning raid at a house in Miami.

The mounting law enforcement existence stunned Cathy Moghari who commenced doing the job just ahead of 6 a.m. at the Miami Information Net’s manufacturing studio. Her Ring camera captured the regulation enforcement agents’ motion to surround a neighboring residence at 2560 SW 27 St.

“There was a Humvee with no headlights on, and it was heading slowly but surely … it was full of adult men donning helmets, and flak jackets and camo,” Moghari said. “First I imagined it was navy, but then all these cars had been coming at the rear of them — all unmarked.”

Popa said he also heard a “big Increase!” Moghari explained it sounded like a “Bang, maybe a shot grenade.”

According to Clara S. Himel, a spokeswoman for the ATF Miami Industry Division, the raid was component of an energetic investigation. ATF focuses on armed violent offenders, occupation criminals, gun traffickers, and gangs. Miami-Dade police officers assisted ATF.

In accordance to Miami-Dade County residence documents, the four-bedroom, two-story dwelling has two living units. It has a small framework in the again and an out of doors laundry spot. There are also entrance and back entrances. The back is on an alleyway in which a big wall blocks visibility from the principal streets.
